Bright Future developed a tailored control strategy for each space, leveraging the flexibility of Hytronik devices.
1. Laboratories – Dimming and Stability: HIR27/R PIR Sensors (DALI-2)
Laboratories required precise dimming, consistent light levels, and automated control.
The self-powered HIR27/R DALI-2 PIR sensor enabled:
• Tri-level dimming to maintain a minimum visibility level when unoccupied.
• Daylight harvesting via integrated photocell.
• Fast IR programming of sensitivity, timing, and lux thresholds.
2. Offices and Write-Up Areas – Low-Profile On/Off Sensors: HIR28/R
In office zones, a clean architectural finish was key.
The HIR28/R low-profile PIR sensor provided:
• Discreet occupancy-based activation, fully automated.
• Photocell function to avoid unnecessary switching under natural light.
• Seamless integration into high-spec ceilings.
3. Efficient Distribution – QCB03/ECO
Ceiling space was limited and densely installed.
The QCB03/ECO offered:
• GST plug-and-play connectors to group luminaires and sensors.
• Reduced installation time and fewer cabling issues.
• Pre-wired infrastructure ready for future expansion with no structural work.

4. Bluetooth Control: HBIR31/R + HBP02
Two office areas required an enhanced user experience.
Combining the HBIR31/R Bluetooth DALI sensor with the HBP02 wall panel enabled:
• Local mesh network setup without control wiring.
• Up to 4 user-configurable scenes (meeting, solo work, presentation, break).
• “Sensor takeover” mode for seamless switch to automation when desired.
• App-based adjustments via Koolmesh or manual control through the wall panel.
